Outfit Details: Romper (similar) // c/o Two Feathers Duster // Shoes
Happy freaking Friday everyone! I’m enjoying my last official day of funemployment, and let me tell you, it’s been amazing! I feel so well rested and I totally needed this little break between jobs. It’s seriously been incredibly restorative – would recommend if you find yourself between two jobs.
Okay, let’s get back to it. Is it just me or did the weather immediately shift after Labor Day? The sun was just like, you know what, “f*ck this summer sh*t.” We were enjoying super sunny temps in the mid 80’s up until Monday and now we’ve been in the 60’s all week. As a midwesterner, the weather will always be something to discuss. Does that make me boring….?
Since the temps have shifted, it’s a good thing I’ve already rounded up some fall transitional items
you we need to add to our closets. Guys, I want to be clear here. I’m not complaining about the temperature changes because fall is BAE (duh). PLUS this colder weather finally gave me a chance to wear this incredible Pajama Jacket that Two Feathers sent me. Isn’t it gorgeous?!
If you haven’t gotten behind the duster trend, then you’re seriously missing out. I think they’ll be the new cardigan this fall/winter. It’s SO easy to style and adds a little oh là là to any look.
So why is this the perfect transitional fall piece? Let me tell you. The duster cardigan is longer than most of your jackets/cardigans, so it gives your legs some warmth without having to wear your favorite pair of denim. You can still rock your mini skirts, baby doll dresses, rompers, even cut offs with this duster. And when the afternoon temps get into the 70’s? No fear. Drape the duster over one of your shoulders so you look like a freaking runway model without breaking a sweat.
I seriously can’t wait to think of all the ways to style this beauty! How would you rock it?
