Hiiii everyone! How the heck are you? Fall has proved to be a busy season in the Cannon household (still weird to say). We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, hosted a friend, enjoyed Logan’s 26th birthday, went to Boston, and now we’re into the holiday season. After a pretty sleepy summer (not complaining), I’m ready for all the parties and travel we have ahead of us. Still to come: work parties (I just bought this dress for one), mine and twin’s 25th birthday, Christmas and New Years. The next four weeks will definitely fly by.
Hubs took these photos last weekend when we were in Boston. I started a new job in September and came in with a butt load of vacation days (obviously made a good career move), but they don’t roll over so it’s use ’em or lose ’em. And you can bet this babe is using them. With a few PTO days to play around with, Logan and I decided to book a last minute trip to a city that’s been on our bucket list for a while, Boston.
We’ve traveled a lot of places together, but *snob alert* they were mostly in Europe (we went to Madrid and Berlin in April). Now we have some domestic travel wish lists we need to get through! On my short list? Austin, Seattle, and San Fran.
Anyway, Boston proved to be the bomb.com. Other than some AirBNB issues, the trip was a great one (follow me on Instagram for more of that situation).
Anyone else agree that packing for fall/winter weekends away is so hard?! I stared at my suitcase for a solid 10 minutes before I could even begin. But I settled on my favorite pair of leggings, a simple tunic, and a drapey cardigan that I can’t live without. My leggings are the Girlfriend Collective leggings that were all over Facebook last year and you only had to pay the cost of shipping. Remember those? Yeah, purchasing them was a GREAT decision.
These photos were taken in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. Logan and I are moving there next week (JK lol). I have another Boston outfit post, and I’ll probably post a weekend trip overview too! Would you be interested in that? Because I never shared my Denver trip either…
Alright, time to get back to Black Friday shopping. Pray for my credit card.
